Theras among Italy's top 50 companies as Champions of Growth 2022

The Italian post-Covid recovery monitored by the German Institute.

A new and prestigious award for Theras: both companies of the group, Theras Biocare and Theras Lifetech, have been included among the 50 most successful Italian companies, earning the title of 'Champions of Growth 2022'.

A double recognition that assessed the growth in the three-year period 2017-2020 of Theras Lifetech and Theras Biocare as leaders in technologies and innovation for diabetes and chronic pain.

A record that reinforces the value of synergies between two dynamic companies that are brilliantly coping with the post-Covid recovery.
Salsomaggiore, 14 November 2021 - A double victory for Theras, which deserves the title of "Growth Champion 2022" after passing a rigorous selection among 25 thousand Italian companies, placing among the top 50 companies.

It did it with both young and dynamic companies led by Cristiano Ferrari (Theras Lifetech) and Carlo Pisani (Theras Biocare).

A winning formula of two companies that have been able to impose themselves on the market thanks to the careful selection of highly technological and discreet products such as the wireless pump (Omnipod) that releases insulin and the innovative continuous blood glucose meter (Dexcom G6) and the neurostimulation systems (Omnia Nevro).

"This edition has amplified the value of this award for multiple reasons. First of all, the satisfaction of the results in such a delicate moment as the pandemic" - comments Cristiano FERRARI, General Manager of Theras Lifetech - "to the point of deserving an award among the top 50 most virtuous companies. Then there is the recognition of the teamwork and common passion of both Lifetech and Biocare companies that have made the difference in overcoming the difficulties of these months. We continue and grow in our commitment to maintain the high standard of quality and excellence that characterise us, offering innovative, ethically and socially sustainable solutions to improve the quality of life of people with diabetes and chronic pain".

The selection by Germany's leading market research institute (ITQF), was made from an initial list of over 25,000 high-growth companies.

This process led to the selection of the 600 most competitive companies based on the average annual growth recorded over the three-year period 2017-2020, with an aggregate turnover of €14.7 billion in 2020.

For them, growth was 50% higher than in 2017, with almost 30 thousand jobs created.

Of these, more than half are concentrated in the centre-north of the country (Lombardy, Lazio, Emilia-Romagna and Veneto) and active in 5 strategic sectors (industrial products, technology, sales marketing, food and consulting services).

"We are grateful for this recognition, which underlines how the achievement of success of a company like ours" - states Carlo PISANI, General Manager of Theras Biocare - "is a synthesis of excellence in the services provided, careful product choices and deep management professionalism. We make constant and massive investments to optimize the service and strengthen internal and external resources. It is in this way that we have been able to extend and complete the concept of "care", which in addition to maintaining the levels of technological excellence, also satisfies those of assistance: it is no coincidence that we call it T-Care".
