The Salsomaggiore-based company is reconfirmed among Italian best-in-class businesses, and awarded as a leader in the research and marketing of advanced technologies for the treatment and monitoring of diabetes and for the management of chronic pain

Milan, 5 June 2020 - A virtual ceremony but a concrete recognition for Theras Lifetech, awarded as Excellence of the Year for Innovation and Leadership in medical devices. The tenth edition of “Le Fonti Awards” included both the Health & Pharma business categories, along with consulting, Banking & Finance and entrepreneurship.

Theras Lifetech closed 2020 with a turnover of almost 65 million euros, with a 100% growth over the 32 million euros of the previous year.

Theras Lifetech boasts commercial partnerships with sector-leading American companies. These are Dexcom and Insulet (which Forbes ranks second and fourth among innovative companies with the best growth) and Nevro, an American company that has patented an exclusive therapy for the treatment of chronic pain. Furthermore, Theras Lifetech collaborates with more than 100 hospitals and specialist clinics throughout Italy.

COMMITMENT TO RESEARCH

At the moment Theras Lifetech has over 8 ongoing research projects. The company invests part of its turnover every year in Research and Development and in Basic Science Research.
