The winner based in Salsomaggiore is one of the 600 companies involved in one of the most competitive digital fairs in Europe

A company based in Salsomaggiore was assigned the Industria Felix Award as one of the top 15 best performing companies in Italy

The Italian best-in-class company that makes devices for the management of diabetes and chronic pain has received the Industria Felix Award at the international and sustainable digital fair

  

Milan, 18 November 2020 - Theras Lifetech based in Salsomaggiore has passed several tough assessments of key financial measures to win the Industria Felix Award.

Theras Lifetech is a leading company in the research and marketing of cutting-edge technologies for the continuous treatment and monitoring of diabetes and for the management of chronic pain.

The Industria Felix Award, assigned each year by a scientific committee made up of economists, entrepreneurs and high-profile managers, is reserved for top-performing companies contributing to social well-being and economic progress through their excellent business management practices and job creation efforts.

Theras Lifetech was chosen “among the 15 Italian best-in-class businesses, based on Cerved business performance and financial reliability measures in the commercial sector".

 

Theras Group continuous growth

Theras Lifetech closed 2019 with a turnover of almost 65 million euro with a 100% increase over the 32 million euro of the previous year.

 

The staff

 It is made up of about 80 people including employees and external collaborators. Half of them are engaged throughout the country to provide technical support to health facilities, doctors and patients, with an assistance service provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

Partnerships

Theras Lifetech boasts commercial partnerships with sector-leading American companies. These are Dexcom and Insulet (which Forbes ranks second and fourth among innovative companies with the best growth) and Nevro, an American company that has patented an exclusive therapy for the treatment of chronic pain. Furthermore, Theras Lifetech collaborates with over 100 hospitals and specialist clinics throughout Italy.

 

Commitment to research

At this moment there Theras Lifetech has 8 ongoing research projects. Every year the company invests a share of its turnover in Research and Development as well as Basic Science Research.
